Qualifications

• MD with successful completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology (ABA) or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted medical license, or eligibility for licensure, in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as required by the position or facility.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care.
• Monitor and manage anesthesia during procedures; address adverse reactions or complications.
• Coordinate with surgeons to determine appropriate anesthetic type for each patient.
• Provide instructions for pre- and post-operative care and discharge readiness.

Education

MD with residency in Anesthesiology

Board certified Anesthesiology (ABA) or equivalent

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
