Job summary

Orthowisconsin seeks a licensed Anesthesiologist for a LOCUM/Pool position at the Orthopaedic Surgery Centers in Pewaukee and Johnson Creek. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of WI locations; relocation housing stipends are not provided.

The role requires MD with accredited residency in Anesthesiology, board certification, current Wisconsin license or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS. Clinical duties include preop assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative discharge

Qualifications

• MD with accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Board certified in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent).
• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin license or eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient status preoperatively and postoperatively.
• Monitors patient before, during and after anesthesia.
• Communicates with surgeons to determine anesthesia type.
• Provides discharge instructions post-procedure.
• Participates in patient and family education regarding anesthesia.
