JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Bletz Lab is seeking undergraduate student(s) to assist with experimental research on conditions affecting immune development and disease resistance in amphibians. The research assistant will work with graduate students in the lab to assist with experiments involving tadpoles and frogs, as well as sample processing in the lab. Responsibilities include animal care, experimental sampling, culturing microbes and pathogens, and molecular techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, and next-generation sequencing.
