Job summary

Bardessono, a luxury hospitality property, is seeking courteous staff for its guest services team. You will deliver orders to rooms within 20-30 minutes and develop knowledge of menus, glassware, and service standards to delight guests.

The role is part-time with flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and a proactive work ethic are essential to maintain guest relations and confidentiality with staff and guests alike.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders and deliver to rooms within approximately 20-30 minutes.
• Develop knowledge of menus, dish and glassware service, and apply that knowledge to guest service.
• Follow tray setup for all orders, including condiments, beverages, and special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of service standards for beer, liquor and wine and comply with alcohol awareness procedures.
• Return checks and payments promptly and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times.

Job Description

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.50

What you will be doing

• Set up orders and deliver to rooms within approximately 20-30 minutes.
• Develop a complete knowledge of menus, dish and glassware service, and utilize that knowledge in the service of guests as needed.
• Follow proper tray set up for all orders, including silverware, napkins, appropriate condiments, beverages, any special requests, etc. Check complete food order to ensure all have been set on tray for delivery.
• Develop a complete knowledge of service standards for beer, liquor and wine, complying with alcohol awareness procedures and complying with all applicable laws.
• Promptly return check and payment to cashier; call back to guest after 5-10 minutes to see if meal is satisfactory.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
