Anticipated Start Date: 5/1/25

Anticipated End Date: 12/31/25

Anticipated Hours Per Week: up to 20hrs/wk

Schedule:

Monday/Thursday Evenings.
Weekend Shifts: Saturday and Sunday.

Potentially more hours available depending on applicant's availability.
Shifts can be split among multiple individuals, if needed.

Salary/Wage Range: Hourly $17.00 to $18.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

  • Personal Care:
    • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Provide assistance with meal preparation and meal supervision.
    • Offer support with mobility as needed. Uses a walker in public.
  • Medication Management:
    • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
  • Safety and Well-being:
    • Monitor for changes in behavior or health and report them to family.
    • Prevent wandering by implementing safety measures and monitoring movements.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support to minimize anxiety and confusion.
  • Cognitive Stimulation:
    • Engage in meaningful activities to maintain cognitive function, such as puzzles, games, and conversation.
    • Adapt activities to individual needs and abilities, ensuring engagement and enjoyment.
  • Other Important Duties:
    • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Transport to social activities.
    • Provide emotional support and create a positive, safe environment.

Qualifications:

No experience needed. Will train the right person.
