Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor credentials according to site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
