Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation is seeking a part-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician at LAS, Las Vegas, NV. The role performs line maintenance per FAA and customer standards, troubleshooting engines, hydraulics, airframes, and related systems.

Requires A&P license, 2–3 years' experience, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. We offer pay from $35–$40 per hour based on experience, a 401k with company match, in-house certification opportunities, and a family-oriented culture

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience.
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and interpret technical data.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be able to climb ladders 6 to 10 feet tall.
• Preferred: CRJ200, EMB-145, B737NG, A320/321, B767.
• Part-Time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft line maintenance in accordance with company, FAA, and customer standards.
• Troubleshoot engines, landing gear, hydraulics, airframes, electrical and oxygen systems.
• Remove/replace system components as required.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and documents.
• Maintain safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency standards.
• Provide customer service and ensure compliance with all regulatory documents.
• Operate servicing units, jacks, lifts and calibrated tools.
• Occasional travel and other duties as assigned.
