Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation in Louisville, KY is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Part-Time). The role performs line maintenance, troubleshooting engines, hydraulics, airframes, and electrical systems to ensure airworthiness per FARs and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• 2–3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Valid A&P and State Driver's License.
• Must read, write and understand English and interpret technical data.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Able to climb ladders 6–10 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft line maintenance per FlightCheck procedures, FARs, and customer standards.
• Complete maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality and airworthiness standards.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and documents.
• Provide customer service orientation in daily tasks.
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate.
• Operate servicing units, jacks, lifts, and calibrated tooling.
• Occasional travel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
