Job summary

Medzown is seeking an R&D Scientist, part-time (20-30 hours). This early-career role supports validation of AI-driven algorithms within precision medicine analytics, reporting to the Senior Scientific Director of R&D.

You will work on clinical trial data, QA of patient reports, and projects across oncology, genomics, and digital health, with growth opportunities at the intersection of science and technology.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in a relevant scientific field.
• Open to recently graduated candidates.
• Experience with clinical trial protocols, interpretation, organization, and documentation.
• Domain expertise in precision medicine; oncology or genomics a plus.
• Experience with medical algorithms and large data sets; data querying preferred.
• Strong communication for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient data and review eligibility for clinical trials and studies.
• Perform QA on patient reports ensuring trials are accurate and matched.
• Help establish QA standards and checklists to improve report reliability.
• Translate complex findings for non-technical audiences and support standards.
• Support broader R&D initiatives and take on select projects from the Senior Scientific Director.
