Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of the AIM program at Heinz College, CMU.
• Proficient in Python programming and LLM System Engineering.
• Experience establishing VM and compute environments (Linux, AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of distributed AI system concepts and infrastructure.
• Experience with LLM evaluations and LLM APIs.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with faculty.

Responsibilities

• Manage software, data and AI model compliance with university policies.
• Establish and maintain shared compute resources for Generative AI models.
• Develop course assignments to teach Generative AI model development and evaluation.
• Translate Python assignments into LLM Agent equivalents.
• Collaborate with supervising professor to align with course objectives.
• Maintain documentation of decisions and code structure.
• Assist in testing translated assignments for correctness and usability.
