Job summary

Penn State University is seeking a General Maintenance role to perform lawn care, building upkeep, cleaning, painting, and repair work at the Ag Progress Days site. The position also includes assisting with event setup and support for the Ag Progress Days Show and other events on the grounds.

Applicants must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license; background checks are required per university policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

General Maintenance at the Ag Progress Days Site to include cutting grass and maintaining building structures. Landscaping activities and building preparation to include cleaning, painting, and repairs at facility. Assist with event support and set-up needs for the Ag Progress Days Show and other events on the grounds

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
