Job summary

Henrico Education Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Center Director to oversee the 21st Century Afterschool Program at Highland Springs Elementary School. This role ensures a safe, enriching environment aligned with HEF policies and mission.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, plan lessons, maintain attendance in Eleyo, collaborate with school personnel, and build strong relationships with families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Must meet Virginia Regulations for Licensed Child Day Centers.
• Degree or credits with relevant experience as specified in options.
• Management experience including hiring and training.
• Experience in licensed child care facilities.
• Age 21+ with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the 21st Century Afterschool Program and staff.
• Plan lessons, coordinate supplies, and promote the program.
• Maintain attendance in Eleyo and report headcounts.
• Engage with schools, parents, vendors, and community partners.
• Ensure licensing compliance and participate in visits.
• Supervise program safety and staff performance.
