Northlake Christian School's Early Learning Center Daycare Floater supports classroom teachers by providing coverage to maintain child/teacher ratios during breaks. The Floater ensures a safe, nurturing environment and collaborates with the team to enhance learning.

The ideal candidate embraces the school's Christian faith, has a high school diploma (or equivalent), and ideally a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• Personal commitment to the Christian faith aligned with the school’s values.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with young children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to various classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Serve lunch to the children.
• Change diapers/assist with toileting.
• Participate in ELC activities, events, and programs.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff (Daily behavior report, weekly newsletter, etc.).
• Comply with ELC policies and state regulations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
