Long Island’s leading butcher shop, Farmingdale Meat Market, is looking for a part-time Cashier to join our team.

Family-owned and operated for three generations, our company has been providing the finest meats since 1946. Join us in our continued growth!

Hours

The typical hours for this position are 2:30/3:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Responsibilities

1. Provide customer support in person and over the phone regarding product inquiries, complaints, and general information.
2. Enter wholesale orders into the Food Connex invoicing system.
3. Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using the register and credit card machine.

Qualifications

• Some high school education.
• Valid working papers if aged 14-17.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy.
