Job description

Our Montessori School

Our Montessori school has been proudly serving our community for many years. With trained, dedicated educators (some with decades of experience), we provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we embrace the authentic Montessori Method, guiding young learners toward becoming innovative thinkers, good citizens, and capable leaders.

Each classroom functions as a community where educators collaborate to provide an authentic experience for children. The Assistant Teacher supports the Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher in all classroom areas.

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Always care! Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
  • Always inspire! Work with a Montessori Guide or Lead Teacher to facilitate fun and interactive learning experiences in an authentic Montessori classroom.
  • Always engage! Develop your ability to observe, assess, and plan activities for children, and communicate effectively with families under the guidance of your lead teacher/guide.
  • Always learn! Complete extensive training on child care and development topics.

We seek joyful, dependable, and passionate individuals who are at least 18 years old and have:

  • Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
  • Completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Met state requirements for education; additional requirements may apply.
  • Montessori training, certification, or experience is preferred.

Your neighborhood Montessori school is supported by Montessori Unlimited, part of Learning Care Group—a nationwide network of authentic Montessori schools. As part of this community, we offer a dynamic, open, friendly, and collaborative environment. If you're ready to make a positive, lasting impact on children, join Montessori Unlimited. We value our people and offer competitive compensation, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and a 401k match. We are committed to recognizing your potential, supporting your growth, and developing inspiring, innovative educators to prepare children for the future.
