Job summary

La Joya Independent School District is seeking a Part-Time Texas ACE Enrichment Assistant/Tutor to support afterschool and summer programming at the La Joya campus. Pay ranges from $15/hr with increases for higher degrees and certification, up to $25/hr for degree and certification.

The role requires supervising students, delivering HIT tutoring, collaborating with teachers, and maintaining documentation. Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College-level student or college graduate preferred.
• Experience with elementary-age students in afterschool/enrichment setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during Texas ACE hours and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide High-Impact Tutoring (HIT) and small-group instruction with approved materials.
• Collaborate with teachers to reinforce instruction and support student learning.
• Maintain attendance, progress notes, and program documentation as required.
• Communicate with Site Coordinator, families, and campus staff regarding student progress.
