Qualifications

• Must be at least 17; HS diploma or GED preferred; some post-secondary training preferred.
• Passion for working with elementary school children.
• Experience with elementary school children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification mandatory.
• Agree with Brook Hill Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a designated group of Lower School students, ensuring safety.
• Assist students with homework and support age-appropriate activities, games and free play.
• Follow daily schedules and directions from the After School Program Director.
• Maintain awareness of student attendance, transitions and locations.
• Ensure students are released only to authorized individuals per checkout procedures.
• Reinforce school rules and address minor behavior issues.
• Assist with snack distribution, cleanup and space organization.
• Support smooth transitions and a positive environment.
