Job summary

The YMCA of Central Kentucky is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Director to help lead our School Age Child Care programs in Lexington, KY. This position is off-campus and not affiliated with UK, and requires you to be a current UK student under a part-time schedule.

You will implement engaging curricula, supervise staff, plan activities, maintain records, and ensure compliance with licensing standards while delivering high-quality youth programming.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• High-School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for youth.
• Ensure staff and volunteers receive required training.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans and assist staff.
• Maintain daily records for evaluation and reporting.
• Supervise staff and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Provide hands-on leadership to youth activities and manage supplies.
