Job summary

Mary Institute and St Louis Country Day School - MICDS is seeking an Extended Day Staff member to supervise and guide groups of 15–20 children in JK–6 after school.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities (computers, arts & crafts, outdoor play), ensuring safety, serving snacks, and working with families from diverse backgrounds. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree is preferred. Part-time, on-site position in St. Louis, Missouri.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in an after-school setting or working with school-age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of 15–20 children in JK–6.
• Oversee activities and ensure safety of all children.
• Serve scheduled snacks to students.
• Work with staff and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added as needed.
