Job summary

Following a successful inaugural year at our Draper campuses, Sistema Utah is looking for a part-time, after-school Piano Teacher to join our growing Draper team. In this role, you will teach separate, small-group piano classes to students in grades K–6, using the Suzuki Method alongside engaging pedagogy.

This role collaborates with APA staff to maintain a positive learning environment. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri 3:00 PM–6:00 PM; Wed, Thu 2:00 PM–6:00 PM; August–May with a training week.

Qualifications

• Experience in piano performance and instruction.
• Willingness to receive training and coaching.
• Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply.
• Suzuki Method training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach group piano lessons to children in grades K–6 using the Suzuki Method and other engaging pedagogical approaches.
• Collaborate with site staff to foster a positive, structured, and creative learning environment.
• Maintain consistency and engagement across daily instrumental classes and ensembles.
• Assist with post-program student pickup (ending at 5:30 PM) and daily classroom reset.
