Job summary

Mathnasium of Santa Barbara is seeking a dedicated Math Instructor to help K-12 students build confidence and mastery through the Mathnasium Method, in-center or online. You will lead small group sessions, assess progress, communicate with parents, and maintain a supportive, engaging learning environment while delivering structured curriculum and using digital materials.

Part-time hours after school and on weekends offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement as you develop

Qualifications

Strong math passion and ability to convey concepts clearly.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and parents.
Motivation to learn and be trained in new teaching methods.
Solid math competency through Algebra I or higher.
Ability to balance leading sessions with instructional duties.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and collaborate with teammates to deliver individualized instruction in groups.
Assess students’ progress and engagement during sessions.
Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
Teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method and tools.
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
