Part-time After-School Instructor for the 2025-26 school year and beyond

Join us as a Part-time After-School Instructor for the 2025-26 school year and beyond at International School of Brooklyn.

International School of Brooklyn (ISB) is an independent, non-profit school renowned for its innovative PreK-3 to 8th Grade Spanish and French language immersion program and International Baccalaureate curriculum. Our After School program emphasizes inquiry-based learning, exploration, and engagement. As an instructor, you should bring enthusiasm for working with children and be capable of engaging students through various activities, including free play, group work, and homework assistance.

Role Requirements

Specific Duties
  • Ensure smooth classroom operations and be a reliable team member
  • Observe, interact, and lead small group activities and games
  • Maintain the learning environment and support classroom needs
  • Plan and supervise daily activities, including homework help and snacks
  • Communicate positively with faculty, students, and families
  • Escort students to enrichment classes and keep spaces organized
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions
  • Contribute to monthly newsletters documenting activities
Position Details

Part-time, 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, salary of $23.50/hour. Benefits are not included.
