Job summary

Communities In Schools Jacksonville is seeking an Enrichment Team Member for our after-school program located in Southside Estates, Jacksonville, FL. This part-time role offers 15 to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an afternoon shift and on-site work.

You will supervise and tutor students, lead enrichment activities, assist during events, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. Certification in CPR/First Aid and background screening are required, with DCF 40 hours completed

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
A high school diploma or GED.
Successfully passed background screening with Duval County Schools and the Department of Children and Families.
Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting is preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provides quality supervision to students in the program.
Provides academic tutoring assistance to students who struggle academically.
Carries out planned enrichment activities while being engaged with students.
Assists during special events, snack service, and dinner service.
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of the hire date.
DCF 40 hours required within 90 days of hire.
Maintains a positive relationship with the Program Manager, Lead Teachers, school faculty, parents, and students.
Serves as a positive role model to students.
