Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking part-time coaches to lead youth programs at multiple Bay Area schools. Most sessions run 1 hour, with 2–5 hours of work weekly and a potential extra 30 minutes for pre-care. Pay ranges from $50 to $65 per session, and all equipment is provided.

Coaches will work with children aged 5–10 in a fun, energetic environment. Successful applicants will attend a short training or shadowing session before starting and must have reliable transportation to sites.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive, active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment provided by the company; coach should have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
