Job summary

SST Schertz is seeking a Part Time Before and After School Care Aide to support daily student activities at the Schertz Campus. Working under direct supervision, you assist with classroom activities, supervise students during breakfast, recess and dismissal, and help implement educational programs.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for 48 college hours and experience with children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 college hours preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) with student academic goals, by working with small groups or individual students.
• Assist with enforcing classroom management and behavior plans.
• Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, and events.
• Assist in preparing paperwork for ARD/IEP processes and data entry for reports.
• Assist with planning and implementing differentiated instruction for students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
