Job summary

SST Hill Country College Prep in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Part Time Before/After School Care Aide to support teachers and students during after-school programs.

Under supervision, you will work with small groups or individuals, assist with classroom management, supervise meals and events, and help prepare forms for ARD/IEP processes. High school diploma required; 48 college hours preferred; experience with children preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 48 college hours is preferred.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) with student academic goals, by working with small groups of children or an individual child.
• Assist teacher(s) in the enforcement of classroom management and behavioral plans, creating an environment that is appropriate for learning.
• Assist with supervising students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, special events, and programs.
• Assist teacher(s) in the preparation of paperwork for the ARD/IEP process. Collects and enters data for completion of special education reports and documents.
• Assists teacher(s) with the planning, preparation and implementation of differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
