Job summary

Gold Cross EMS is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) for full-time duties in Augusta, GA. You will perform medical treatment and stabilization under physician direction, operate an EMS unit, and maintain equipment in accordance with GCEMS protocols.

Responsibilities include knowledge of hospital locations, navigation, and radio procedures, and collaboration with Field Supervisors to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have current Georgia Advanced EMT certification or SC Advanced EMT certification with National Registry.
• Must have current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• Valid driver's license and meet company insurance requirements.
• One year EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and stabilization of patients within defined scope of practice.
• Maintain unit, drugs, IV fluids, supplies, and equipment inventory.
• Know GCEMS protocols, hospitals, and navigation procedures; communicate via radio per GCEMS guidelines.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisor and other EMS personnel during responses.
