University of New Mexico invites applications for Temporary Part-Time Adjunct faculty to teach Chemistry, Geology, and Biology courses at the Taos Branch for Spring and Fall 2027. Positions are hired on an as-needed basis, dependent on enrollment and course offerings. Adjuncts may qualify for UNM benefits in some cases.

Teaching assignments include Chemistry 1120C, 1215, 1215L, 1225, 1225L, Geology 1110/1110L, Biology 2305/2101/2103L/1110/1110L, with potential remote delivery options.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in the discipline or subfield in which you teach, and completed graduate coursework at least one level above the courses taught or equivalent
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution and remote delivery experience (if applicable)

Responsabilités

• Teach one or more of the following courses at the Taos Branch: Chemistry 1120C, 1215, 1215L, 1225, 1225L, Geology 1110, 1110L, Biology 2305, 2101, 2103 L, 1110, 1110 L.
• Deliver courses for Spring and Fall 2027 on an as-needed basis based on enrollment, course offerings, and graduation requirements.
