Job summary

Qualifications

Earned doctorate or terminal degree in the taught discipline.
Strong communication and writing skills with experience giving feedback.
Significant work/teaching experience directly related to the course.
Experience teaching in higher education.

Responsibilities

Follow a standardized course syllabus and use pre-developed instructional materials for each course.
Engage class discussions, applying instructor's background to real-world problems.
Provide verbal and written feedback to students and grade work.
Support learning by establishing regular office hours and responding to student issues.
Maintain regular communications with the ILS Division Chair about student experiences and course improvements.
