Job summary

Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants to teach Elementary Methods II (EDUC-322) for the fall 2026 semester. Classes are in-person during the day (Mon/Wed 8am-3pm; Fri 8am-12pm) with some sessions supporting local elementary schools.

This is a part-time, non-benefited teaching position. The course covers best practices for teaching math, science, and engineering, integrating literacy, with standards-based unit planning and field experience emphasizing reflection on teaching.

Qualifications

• Earned Master’s degree by August 1, 2026.
• Minimum of five years full-time teaching experience in public schools (K-6).
• Background in math and science content and pedagogy.
• Experience teaching in inclusive environments with diverse student populations.
• College teaching and supervision experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver course content for credit courses.
• Prepare lesson plans and course materials; Assess student learning; Assign grades; refer students to support services; Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship.
• Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate department meetings.
