Job summary

The University Of New Mexico-Gallup Branch, Math, Business, Science, and Technology Division, anticipates hiring adjunct faculty to teach lower-division courses (1000–2000 level) in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Instructors teach face-to-face or develop courses as needed, conduct content delivery, create assignments, grade work, report grades, and assess student learning under the division chair’s guidance, with duties contingent on enrollment and course offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the discipline or subfield for which you are applying.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience at the community college level.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Commitment to cultivate understanding of New Mexico cultures and community service.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower division courses (1000–2000 level) face-to-face as assigned.
• Deliver course content, develop assignments, and assess student learning.
• Maintain grading and reporting of grades under supervision of the division chair.
• Contribute to course development and maintain alignment with program requirements.
