Part-time (Adjunct) Faculty – Ethnic Studies
Salary Range: $70.50 - $77.50 per contact hour
Locations mainly include: Coalinga, Lemoore, Firebaugh, and surrounding state prisons and high schools.

Current course offerings include introductory courses designed to help students develop a foundational understanding of the discipline as well as the fundamental skills and knowledge to meet their educational and career goals. The successful candidate will exhibit a passion for educating a diverse student population through culturally responsive pedagogy and demonstrate the use of effective practices for engaging students with diverse learning needs, backgrounds, and academic goals. Teaching assignments may include a mixture of day, evening, and weekend courses plus face to face, online, hybrid classes, and it is dependable on the need of the campus and the course assigned.
REQUIREMENT BY CA HANDBOOK
Masters in the ethnic studies field OR a master’s in American Studies/Ethnicity, Latino Studies, La Raza Studies, Central American Studies, Latin American Studies, Cross Cultural Studies, Race and Ethnic Relations, Asian-American Studies, or African-American Studies OR the equivalent.
Requires a valid driver’s license.
