Job summary

Waubonsee Community College is seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty member for College Success at the Aurora Downtown Campus. The role is a non-hybrid, on-site teaching assignment with a Fall semester schedule including evening hours at Sugar Grove.

The candidate will prepare syllabi, deliver instruction, assess learning, and participate in department activities under the Dean's guidance. Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree and technology competency for college-level instruction.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in any related field is required.
• Competency in technologies commonly used in college level instruction.

Responsibilities

• Design syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet course description and outcomes.
• Meet college deadlines for attendance, grades and data collection for assessment of student learning.
• Incorporate learning-centered principles and motivate students to participate in educational experiences.
• Integrate instructional technology to deliver and enhance teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with professional colleagues to meet student needs and campus goals.
• Model professionalism with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
