Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Broadcasting and Podcasting courses at our campus. In this role you will facilitate lectures, lead discussions, assess student work, and mentor students to achieve course objectives in a modern classroom setting.

Qualified candidates will have teaching experience and a master's degree in communications (PhD preferred). Experience with broadcasting, podcasting, or mass media is highly valued in our collaborative,

Qualifications

• Professional or teaching experience in broadcasting or communication education.
• Master's in Communication required; PhD preferred for higher-level courses.
• Candidates with 18 graduate credits in Communications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
