Pima Community College’s Applied Technology Division is expanding its pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach occupational level courses for the 2026–27 academic year and beyond. Instructors may be hired for specific courses or remain in a pool for future assignments based on enrollment.

Discipline areas include Automated Industrial Technology, Automotive Technology, Aviation Technology, Building & Construction Technology, CAD, Machining, Optics/Photonics, Welding, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Applied Technology courses.
• Experience teaching online courses and/or alternative instructional formats.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably D2L Brightspace.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the content area and support academic success.
• Follow protocols for presence, responsiveness, grading, attendance, and assessment of learning.
• Maintain currency in teaching methods and course delivery modalities.

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in discipline or related field
