Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Bellmore is seeking a part-time Acupuncturist to administer treatments including needles, e-stim, and cupping, while recording initials and ongoing patient notes. You will work closely with a team of physical and occupational therapists.

We require a Master’s in Acupuncture with NCCAOM credentials preferred and at least two years of acupuncture experience, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Acupuncture required.
• Certified Acupuncturist credentialed from NCCAOM preferred.
• Minimum 2 years performing acupuncture required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the evaluation and treatment of patients needing acupuncture services.
• Treatments include needles, electro-stimulation, and cupping as needed.
• Document daily notes and track patient progress with the therapy team.
• Collaborate with physical and occupational therapy staff to coordinate care.
