Job summary

WELLINGTON PHYSICAL THERAPY AND ACUPUNCTURE PLLC in New York, NY seeks a Licensed Acupuncturist for a full-time, on-site role. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide acupuncture and related modalities in coordination with physical therapy and other services.

You will document care to meet regulatory standards, educate patients on goals and preventive strategies, and monitor progress to adjust interventions.

Qualifications

• Must have strong foundation in Medicine and Oriental Medicine and integrate these perspectives into patient care.
• Proficient in Acupuncture, diagnostic techniques, planning treatments, and safe needle insertion.
• Experience with adjunct therapies such as Moxibustion.
• Knowledge of herbs within Oriental Medicine, including safety and contraindications.
• Current NY State licensure as an Acupuncturist and graduation from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide acupuncture and related modalities in coordination with other services.
• Document care in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients on treatment goals, self-care and prevention.
• Collaborate with clinicians and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment.
• Participate in practice meetings and continuing education.
