The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate, and creative. Since this role involves working directly with residents, you must be gentle, responsible, and hardworking. Comfort with confused individuals and a willingness to find fulfillment in small ways are essential.

PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT:

The Activities Assistant provides individualized activity care and services for residents. This role functions as part of the activities department team and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to foster success.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior work/life experiences, preferably in healthcare
  • Experience with related software applications is a plus
  • Ability to plan, organize, and conduct various activities
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Active state driver’s license
