Johnny's Selected Seeds is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk onsite in Fairfield, Maine. The role supports day-to-day AP operations within the Finance team, handling invoice processing, vendor communications, and year-end documentation as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with accounting tools (Sage Intacct preferred), and strong communication, analytical, and detail-oriented skills to maintain confidential information and support

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred in an accounting environment.
• Experience with accounts payable processes and vendor communication is helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process AP invoices for payment following internal policies.
• Reconcile amounts due to vendors and align records with theirs.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Maintain cost-effective processes to benefit the company.
• Provide vendor resolution by phone and email; communicate with team.
