The University of Tampa seeks part-time instructors to teach undergraduate financial accounting and managerial accounting (ACC 202 and ACC 203) in the Department of Accounting. Responsibilities include creating syllabi, setting meeting times, and managing grading systems.

A successful candidate will have at least 18 graduate credits in accounting, 3 years of experience, and may hold CPA/CMA designations. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Competenze

• At least 18 graduate credits in accounting are required.
• A Master’s degree in accounting is preferred.
• At least 3 years of full-time experience as a professional accountant.
• Active professional designation such as CPA, CMA, etc., is preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Teach undergraduate financial accounting and managerial accounting courses (ACC 202 and ACC 203).
• Create syllabus(es) for each semester with learning objectives.
• Provide meeting times for students.
• Manage online/paperwork grading system and training prior to first semester.
• Meet with course coordinator and/or department chair.
