Join to apply for the Accounting Clerk role at Tri-Tech.

We are currently seeking a part-time, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role will focus primarily on collections and resolving customer billing issues, ensuring timely receipt of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience working in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Post high-volume Accounts Receivable payments into accounting software daily
  • Research and resolve complex payment issues
  • Send monthly statements to customers, export statements to Excel, and format as needed
  • Resend invoices upon client request
  • Process client lien releases
  • Process client credit card payments
  • Review Accounts Receivable balances and contact clients for payment via email, phone, or collection letters
  • Monitor shared Accounts Receivable email account and respond to requests
  • Post sales batches
  • Enter miscellaneous adjustments on customer accounts
  • Enter & post Credit Memos
  • Perform month-end reconciliations
Qualifications
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Sage and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Expected Hours: 20-25 hours per week. This position has the potential to switch to full-time in the future.
