Job summary

Rowan University is seeking a Temporary Part Time Hourly Accessibility Services Coordinator to support students with disabilities within the Academic Success Center. The role involves direct student support, program development, and event promotion for Accessibility Services, including coordination of assistive technology and information management systems.

The position is limited to 25 hours per week with an annual cap of 944 hours and pays $22 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities and assist with Accessibility Services programs and events.
• Provide academic coaching to neurodivergent students and alumni through the Autism PATH program.
• Collaborate with the Center for Neurodiversity on shared initiatives.
• Help students assess their needs for assistive technology hardware, software, and training.
• Track emerging trends and best practices in ADA and Section 504/508 compliance.
• Manage the Alternate Format Text accommodation program and related student requests.
• Maintain and update the Accessibility Services department website using Cascade CMS.
