Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Entry Screening Security Officer in Ninety Six, SC to monitor entry points, verify access, and provide customer service. You will combine technology use with a people-first approach to deter incidents and support secure operations.

This role supports a technology, media, and telecom location with flexible shifts and opportunities for growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Control access to restricted areas, receive and direct visitors, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
