Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Willimantic, CT. The role offers flexible, dependable hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position pays $17.25 per hour and supports a schedule that includes DayTime Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Candidates should have customer service experience, be comfortable with computers, and meet basic licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents in reports and communicate information to leadership and site management.
