Job summary

Allied Universal is a leading security company seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Management in Milan, MO. The role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting visitor and employee flow in a food and beverage production location.

You will provide exceptional customer service, report security concerns, and help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment while following site procedures. The schedule is flexible and shifts can be claimed via our platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Screen and direct inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements and applicable security-related procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help identify and report security-related concerns.
