Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management in North Smithfield, RI to provide dependable, flexible hours at a healthcare site. This position offers an anchor shift with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform and a pay rate of $17.01 per hour.

Responsibilities include access control, visitor management, incident response, logkeeping, and regular patrols to maintain secure premises while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at a healthcare location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry and manage visitor access.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies, notifying site contacts and responders as needed.
• Maintain logs and reports related to visitor activity, access credentials, incidents, and other events.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, interior areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions.
