Allied Universal in Pontiac, MI is seeking a part-time Security Officer specialized in Access Governance. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism in a fast-paced security environment.

This role offers a flexible schedule with pay rate $18.68 per hour. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain logs while upholding safety, courtesy, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted.
• License may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while enforcing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report discrepancies.
• Operate access-control systems and related equipment to support controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly, escalate as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and report security concerns.
