Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Access Operations Driver) in Baytown, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The role includes driving responsibilities, a flexible weekend schedule, and opportunities to claim additional shifts through our platform. A valid driver’s license is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access in accordance with site requirements, directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations and escalating access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting security-related hazards, unusual activity, and policy violations.
