Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Point Monitor in Augusta, GA. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, and assist with visitor and employee communications at a manufacturing and industrial site.

The role emphasizes customer service, routine patrols, and responding to security incidents. Part-time schedule and weekend shifts are available, with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge handling is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment in accordance with laws.
• Criminal history considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and control entry/exit per site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations calmly.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, provide directions, report concerns.
• Conduct regular/patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter; document observations.
