Job summary

Allied Universal in Bearden, AR is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Control to safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access and document security-related activity, while delivering professional customer service.

In this role you will patrol, respond calmly to incidents, and support site management with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
